Last updated 9 October 2026
Who we are
Dean Textiles (“we”, “us”) is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. Our office is at 3, Kumar Nagar East, 2nd Street, Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu 641 603, India. You can reach us at anand@deantextiles.com.
The laws we follow
We handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, notified on 13 November 2025. Where we deal with people in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we also apply the General Data Protection Regulation and its UK equivalent.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use Start a project, email or call us, we receive your name, company, work email, country, role and the details of your project, including any files such as tech packs.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records basic technical data, such as browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising trackers. See our Cookie policy.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals, samples and quotations.
- To manage orders, shipments and the documents they require.
- To meet legal, tax and customs obligations.
- To keep this website secure and improve it.
We never sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Our grounds for using it
Under Indian law we rely on your consent, which you give by sending us an enquiry, and on legitimate uses permitted by the Act, such as complying with law. For EU and UK visitors, our legal bases are consent, steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after [period]. Client and order records are kept for as long as Indian tax and customs law requires, then deleted.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run the business, such as email and hosting providers, and with production and logistics partners when your order needs them. Each receives only what the task requires. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
International transfers
Our service providers may store data outside India. We use providers who protect it to the standard Indian law requires and, for EU and UK data, to the standard the GDPR requires.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, complete, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent at any time, and nominate another person to act for you. EU and UK residents may also object to processing, ask for portability and complain to their supervisory authority.
Questions and grievances
Write to anand@deantextiles.com with the subject line “Privacy”. We will acknowledge your request and respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We protect data with access controls, encrypted connections and limited retention. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the date at the top of this page.
